Listed below are the Summer Camp descriptions, dates and times for the 6th-8th grade students. To register online, scroll to bottom of page and click on the Register Now button.

June 5 - 9
The Art of Portraiture ~  1:00 PM -  4:000 PM   •  $165
Explore the world of portraiture using similar techniques to some of art history’s finest. Students will create both realistic and abstract portraits using tempera paint, watercolors, chalk and oil pastels.

June 12 - 16
Art that Grooves  ~  9:30 AM - 12:30 PM   •  $165
Celebrate the art of the 60’s! From psychedelic paintings, to tie dye and rock painting, students will travel back in time and take inspiration from the famous artists and musicians of this time period!
Wheel Throwing  ~ 1:00 - 4:00 PM •  $170
Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Patience and a high tolerance for messy hands is a must for learning this fun way to create pottery. Students will learn the basic steps for creating bowls and cups on the pottery wheel.

June 19 - 23
Wearable Art ~ 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM  •  $165
Students will create a variety of earrings, bracelets, necklaces and hair accessories using plastic bottles, fabrics, metal and more!

June 26 - 30
Art Innovations ~  9:30 AM - 12:30 PM   •  $165
Travel back in time and learn about great art innovations in history. From pinhole cameras to tessellations, students will explore a wide variety of techniques and materials.
Face Off!  ~ 1:00 - 4:00 PM •  $165
Have you seen the show Face-Off? Students are going to be making a costume head for a creature they invent and develop a backstory for how the creature came to be, special powers, etc.

July 5 - 7
Mosaics  ~ 1:00 - 4:00 PM •  $110
Learn the basic techniques, tools and materials used to create colorful mosaics and create a unique stepping stone using glass and clay tiles.

July 10 - 14
The Art of Tinkering ~ 1:00 - 4:00 PM •  $165
Students will take things apart, focus on problem solving, creativity and teamwork while building artwork that combines science, technology, engineering and math.

July 24 - 28
Sculpture with a Twist  ~ 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM   •  $165
Explore the world of sculpture! Students will have the opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of materials such as wire, plaster, wood, styrofoam and clay.

July 31 - August 4
