June 4 – 8

Wheel Throwing, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM~ Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Patience and a high tolerance for messy hands is a must for learning this fun way to create pottery. You will learn the basic steps for creating bowls and cups on the pottery wheel. Due to the drying time involved, you will have 3 days to learn and practice how to throw pots on the wheel. The last 2 days will be spent glazing your pieces. $175 ~ FULL

Out of this World Art, 1:00 - 4:00 PM ~ Inspired by pictures and stories from outer space, create galaxy paintings, aliens and more! Work with a variety of materials, including clay, and learn specific methods for using each material while making unique 2D and 3D pieces. $165

June 11 – 15

Super Selfies, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Explore the world of self-portraits. Learn how to create both realistic and abstract portraits using a variety of materials including using watercolors, oil pastels, clay and more! $165

The Art of Chess, 1:00 - 4:00 PM ~ Offered in conjunction with the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis, you will learn the game of chess while designing and creating your own chess set!  A chess instructor from the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis will lead daily l-hour chess lessons and games. During the remaining time, you will create clay chess pieces and a wooden board.  All levels welcome. $175

June 18 – 22

Famous Fidos, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM~ Explore how furry canine friends have been depicted throughout time and the artists who created them. You will use a variety of art materials including oil pastels, watercolors and clay while exploring this theme.  One of your pieces will be selected to hang on display at The American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog in Queeny Park. You will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with dogs from Love on a Leash! $165 ~ FULL

DIY Room Décor, 1:00 - 4:00 PM ~ Give your room a fresh look this summer by creating both decorative and functional pieces for your room. Projects include a decorative mirror, phone holder, pillow and wall art.  $165

June 25 – 29

HogwARTs, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Create wands, snitches, potions and more in this camp designed for Harry Potter fans! This is a mixed media camp where you will use a variety of materials throughout the week. $165

Medieval Masterpieces, 1:00 - 4:00 PM ~ Let your imagination take you on a journey to a distant time. Sculpt castles, draw and paint mysterious landscapes and build dragons inspired by fairy tales and mythical places. Use a variety of materials throughout the week including acrylics, oil pastels, and clay. $165

July 9 – 13

Nature Inspired, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Create both 2D and 3D pieces of art inspired by the great outdoors while learning drawing, painting and basic clay hand-building techniques. Natural materials like leaves and sticks will also be incorporated into some of the pieces. $165

Fun with Fibers, 1:00 - 4:00 PM ~ Create sock monsters, weavings, tie dye shirts and more using a variety of materials while learning different cutting and sewing techniques! $165

July 16 – 20

Printmaking: Under Pressure!  9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Our friends at Central Print are bringing a new take on traditional and contemporary methods in printmaking to Art Unleashed! Explore letterpress printing on the proof press, including innovative new approaches to centuries-old art making techniques. You will learn about the process and history of letterpress printmaking and get inky on the press by making a series of original prints. $165

Actors and Artists, 1:00 - 4:00 PM~ Combine two art forms into one creative experience! Become an actor performing short skits and create art work that coincides with the performance. $165

July 23 – 27

Wild About Art, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Take an imaginary trip to the jungle, rainforest and more through stories and pictures to learn about animals large and small.  Create your own animals while learning basic drawing, painting and clay hand building techniques. You will also enjoy a live show of reptiles and amphibians presented by Steve and Deb Teson.  $165

Art from Around the World , 1:00 - 4:00 PM~ Take a trip around the globe as we explore art from different cultures around the world. Learn basic characteristics of artwork created in specific regions and then recreate your own interpretation of these works. You will create both 2D and 3D pieces using watercolors, oil pastels, clay and more. $165

July 30 – August 3

Magnificent Mosaics, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Learn the basic techniques, tools and materials used to create colorful mosaics while creating a variety of mosaics on a stepping stone, picture frame, flower pot and more! $165

Meet the Masters, 1:00 - 4:00 PM ~ Students will take a walk through the 20th Century and study some of the most influential artists of that time, including Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, and Henry Moore. Students will create drawings, paintings and clay sculptures inspired by these artists. $165

August 6 – 10

Painting with Acrylics and Watercolors, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM ~ Explore a variety of techniques for painting with acrylic and watercolor paints, including color mixing, color blending and different brush techniques. You will paint a landscape, a still life and an animal. $165 FULL
