June 3-7, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM   Art that POPs ~ Drawing on inspiration from Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg and more, students will create drawings, paintings and sculptures of everyday images in Pop Art style - simple, bold, and bright! $165

June 3-7, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Mythical Creatures ~ Inspired by dragons, basilisk, unicorns, mermaids and more, students will sculpt, draw and paint these mysterious creatures.  Students will use a variety of materials throughout the week including acrylics, oil pastels, clay and more!$165

June 10 -14, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Sculpture Fun ~ Build your way through the week while learning a variety of sculpture techniques! This camp is designed to introduce students to the world of sculpture and will provide them an opportunity to experiment with a wide variety of materials such as wire, plaster, wood and clay. $165

June 10-14, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   From Picasso’s Point of View ~ Pablo Picasso was a painter, sculptor, ceramicist and printmaker that is regarded as one of the most influential artists in the 20thcentury. Create both 2D and 3D works of art inspired by the unique characteristics of Picasso’s artistic style. $165

June 17-21, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Full STEAM Ahead ~ In this camp, students will take things apart in activities that develop 21st-century life skills like problem solving, creativity, and collaboration. Students will design and create various artworks integrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics. $165

June 17-21, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Wild About Art~ Take an imaginary trip to the jungle, rainforest and more through stories and illustrations to learn about animals large and small. Create your own animals while learning basic drawing, painting and clay hand building techniques. Students will also enjoy a live show of reptiles and amphibians presented by Steve and Deb Teson.$165

June 24-28, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Public Installation Art ~ Explore the world of installation art and the artists who created unique spaces in public places. Campers will decide on a theme and create multiple sculptures that will be placed on display in the St. Louis County Library, Daniel Boone branch, during the month of July.$165

June 24 -28, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Underwater Adventures~ Come explore the underwater world as we make artwork inspired by majestic sea life and sunken treasures created using a variety of materials including watercolor, oil pastels, clay and more! $165

July 1 – 3, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Wheel Throwing ~ Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Patience and a high tolerance for messy hands is a must for learning this fun way to create pottery. Students will learn the basic steps for creating bowls and cups on the pottery wheel. Due to the drying time involved, students will have two days to learn and practice how to throw pots on the wheel. The third day of class will be spent glazing their pieces. $100

July 8–12, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Famous Fidos~ Explore how furry canine friends have been depicted throughout time and the artists who created them. Students will use a variety of art materials including oil pastels, watercolors and clay as they explore this theme. Students will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with some furry friends! $165

July 8–12, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Mind Bending Art ~ Inspired by the work of M.C. Escher, the surrealism movement and chalk artists, learn how artists use color, light and patterns to create images that can trick the eye. Design your own optical illusions and twisted reality drawings and paintings. $165

July 15–19, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Arctic Blast ~ Take a break from the heat and imagine yourself in a winter wonderland! Spend the week creating artwork inspired by all things cold, using a variety of mediums to create both 2D and 3D pieces. Kona Ice will make a visit to help cool off our campers. $165

July 15–19, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Dynamic Drawings~ Draw the week away while experimenting with different materials including charcoal, chalk pastels, oil pastels and more. This camp is intended for serious students interested in improving their drawing skills. Students will learn a variety of drawing techniques while creating both realistic and abstract pieces. $165

July 22–26, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Super Selfies~ A mash-up of trending technology and traditional techniques, these portraits will capture the moment and make you smile. A variety of materials will be used including watercolors, acrylic paint, oil pastels and clay. $165

July 22–26, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   The Art of Chess~ Offered in conjunction with the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis, students will learn the game of chess while also creating their own oversized paper mache chess piece.  A chess instructor will lead daily chess lessons and games. All levels welcome. $175

July 29–August 2, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Famous Felines ~ Explore how cats of all kinds have been depicted throughout time and the artists who created them.  Students will use a variety of art materials including oil pastels, watercolors and clay as they explore this theme. Students will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with cats from Tenth Life Cat Rescue! $165

July 29-August 2, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Art from Around the World~ Take a trip around the globe as we explore art from different cultures around the world. Students will learn basic characteristics of artwork created in specific regions and recreate their own interpretation of these works. Students will create both 2D and 3D pieces using watercolors, oil pastels, clay and more. $165

August 5–9, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM   Music and Mud~Students will learn about a variety of percussion instruments from Papa Wright to create rhythm and sound effects through story telling and puppetry. They will create instruments out of clay including shakers, whistles and drums.$175

August 5–9, 1:00 – 4:00 PM   Magnificent Mosaics~ Learn the basic techniques, tools and materials used to create colorful mosaics. Create intricate patterned mosaics on a stepping stone, picture frame, and more using ancient techniques and modern materials. $175
