Our Kaleidoscope program provides visual art classes for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants are exposed to a variety of media including, but not limited to, watercolor, acrylics, collage and clay. Instructors create lessons designed to reach students at their own skill level and provide one-on-one attention to ensure each student's success. Students have the freedom to experiment with the materials and express themselves in a variety of ways, while being challenged as they improve their artistic skills.
Winter/Spring 2018 Kaleidoscope Art Classes
Art Sampler ~This class is designed to introduce students to a variety of art materials, including tempera, watercolors, oil pastels and more while teaching them specific techniques for handling each material.
6th - 12th Grade: Thursdays, 3/8 - 3/29, 4:30 - 6:00 pm, $90
Clay Creations ~ Students will learn the basics of creating works of art from clay using pinch pots, slabs and coils while creating both realistic and abstract pieces. K- 5th Grade: Tuesdays, 5/1-5/22, 5:00-6:00 pm, $85
6th - 12th Grade: Tuesdays, 5/1 - 5/22, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, $100
