Homeschool K- 5th Grade
Clay Creations ~ Thursdays, February 8 - March 1, 1:00 - 2:30 PM, $100. Students will learn the basics of creating works of art from clay using pinch pots, slabs and coils while creating both realistic and abstract pieces.
Valentine Fun! ~ Tuesday, February 13, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, $25. Get ready for Valentine's Day by creating cards and other heart themed art projects!
Art from Around the World ~ Thursdays, March 8 – 29, 1:00 - 2:30, $90. Take a trip around the globe as we explore art from around the world. Learn basic characteristics of artwork created in specific regions and then recreate their own interpretation of these works.
Clay Creations ~ Thursdays, April 5 - 26, 1:00 - 2:30 PM, $100. Students will learn the basics of creating works of art from clay using pinch pots, slabs and coils while creating both realistic and abstract pieces.
Meet the Masters ~ Thursdays, May 3 - 24, 1:00 - 2:30 PM, $90. Students will take a walk through history and study some of the most influential artists of all time, including Andy Warhol, Wassily Kandinsky, and Vincent Van Gogh. Students will create drawings and paintings inspired by the artists discussed.
Homeschool 6th - 12th Grade
Painting with Acrylics – Thursdays, February 8 – March 1, 1:00 – 2:30 PM, $90. Learn a variety of techniques for painting with acrylic paints, including color mixing, color blending and different brush applications. Students will paint a landscape and a still life.
Figurative Sculpture ~ Thursdays, March 8 – 29, 1:00 - 2:30 PM, $100. Learn how to construct a realistic figure out of clay using hand building techniques and carving techniques.
Drawing with Perspective ~ Thursdays, April 5 – 26, 1:00 – 2:30 PM, $90. Learn how to draw buildings and the interiors of rooms using one point perspective.
Wheel Throwing ~ Thursdays, , May 3 - 24, 1:00 - 2:30 PM, $100. Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Patience and a high tolerance for messy hands is a must for learning this fun way to create pottery. Students will learn the basic steps for creating bowls and cups on the pottery wheel.
