Our adult classes are designed to meet the needs of the students where they are  ~ from beginner to advanced, our instructors tailor the classes to each participant and their specific goals, while teaching them a variety of skills and techniques.

2017 ADULT CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

Pottery with Heather Woodson  ~  This pottery class will explore both hand building and wheel throwing techniques for beginners through advanced students. Your instructor will determine where you are in the learning process and help guide you through projects of your choice. 
Mondays, 11/6-12/18, 6:00-8:30 PM , 7-week session, $215

 

  

2018 ADULT CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

January 8 - February 12; February 26 - April 2; April 16 - May 21

 

Pottery with Phyllis Schulte  ~  This pottery class will explore both hand building and wheel throwing techniques for beginners through advanced students. Your instructor will determine where you are in the learning process and help guide you through projects of your choice. Tuesdays, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM, $190. The classes are scheduled as follows: 
January 9 - February 13;  February 27 - April 3;  April 17 - May 22

 

Adult Acrylics with Linda Wilmes ~ Painting with acrylics on canvas, you will create a painting per class of several subjects. Thursdays, February 1 - 22, 6:00 - 8:30 PM, $130

Figure Drawing with James Davania ~ Tuesdays, March 6 - 27, 7:00 - 8:30 pm, $90. Learn basic drawing techniques for drawing the human figure.  Each week our model will be clothed in a different, themed attire. For students 9th Grade- Adult. 

Adult Intro to Watercolors with Debbie Norris ~ Great beginner class for those wanting to try watercolor. Basic brush techniques and watercolor applications will be explored. Thursdays, April 5 - 26, 7:00 - 8:30 PM, $85

 

 

 

 

"COCKTAILS AND CREATIVITY" ADULT WORKSHOPS The following workshops are a creative night out for friends or couples and a great opportunity to try a new form of art! No previous art experience necessary! Basic and specific instruction is given with guided assistance. Art Unleashed provides alcoholic beverages and light snacks. A different project will be completed each workshop.

Clay Knitting Bowl with Heather Woodson – Create a unique clay bowl to hold your yarn while you knit. Thursday, January 18, 10:00 – 11:30 AM, $45

Winter Birch Trees with Linda Wilmes ~  Watercolor, a quick painting of a snowy scene, limited colors and familiar birch trees. Friday, January 19. 6:30 - 8:30 PM, $45

 


Wine Chillers with Anna Katz- Create a personalized clay wine chiller while learning the sgraffito process. Clay wine chillers will be pre-made, and participants will apply underglaze and then carve through to create a unique surface design. Friday, February 2, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, $55

Felt Magnets with Anna Katz - Make magnets with felt fabric. Friday, February 23, 7:00 - 9:00 PM, $45

Birdhouses with Heather Woodson– Use basic handbuilding techniques to create a clay birdhouse, ready to welcome the spring birds! Thursday, March 8 and March 15, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, $55

 

 

Blown Watercolor Flowers with Linda Wilmes ~ Create fresh, spontaneous paintings, for a quick gift or greeting card. We will blow paint on partially wet paper, and then watch the mingling of colors. Friday, March 9, 6:00 - 8:00 PM, $45

 

Printmaking with Anna Katz ~ Create a personalized set of stationary while learning basic printmaking techniues. Friday, March 16, 7:00 - 9:00 PM, $45

Clay Flowers with Phyllis Schulte ~ Create clay bowls and turn them into unique outdoor sculptures for your  garden. Thursdays, April 26 and May 3, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, $60

Saturated Wet Watercolors with Linda Wilmes ~  A fun, fast way to create a complete painting in one evening. Lifting the paint off to bring back the white paper. And painting with sponge, brush and palette knife. Friday, April 13, 6:30 - 8:30 PM, $45
