Our adult classes are designed to meet the needs of the students where they are  ~ from beginner to advanced, our instructors tailor the classes to each participant and their specific goals, while teaching them a variety of skills and techniques.

Pottery with Heather WoodsonThis pottery class explores both hand building and wheel throwing techniques for beginners through advanced students. Instructor will determine where you are in the learning process and help guide you through projects of your choice. Purchase a set amount of classes and choose which weeks to attend! Mondays, 1/7 - 5/20, 6:30-9:00 PM.  Passes must be used by May 2019.

Sculpting the Figure with Heather Woodson ~ Learn the tips, tools and techniques to sculpt the human form in clay. This introductory class will guide you through the basics of human proportions and facial features. No experience necessary. Thursdays, 1/10- 2/14, 1:00 - 3:00 PM, $155

Adult Drawing: Learning to see and draw like an artist! - Beginners welcome! Discover how to use the right side of your brain to see like an artist. Experienced artists can take their drawing skills to a higher level. Experiment with various kinds of drawing media to unleash the artist in you! Saturdays, 2/23-4/6, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, $140

Personalized Jewelry with Danielle Adams ~ Ever wanted to create your own jewelry keepsake? In this class, you will learn how to stamp, texture and form copper and sliver into personalized necklaces and bracelets.  Thursdays, 4/11-5/16, 7:30 - 9:00 PM, $145

 

WORKSHOPS

Learn to Weave with Sandi Illian Learn to use a simple loom, how to warp, design your tapestry and learn 4 stitches on the first night.  Continue your weaving throughout the two weeks and complete your project during the second class.  Learn to tie off the loom, weave in loose yarns, add beads, tie onto dowel and you will have completed your first Tapestry Weaving! Tuesdays, January 8 and 22, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, $60 or Wednesdays, February 13 and 27, 1:00 – 3:00 PM, $60

Wheel Throwing Workshop  ~ This workshop is a great way to learn the basic techniques in creating a bowl on the pottery wheel. Great for curious students as well as date nights, girls night out, etc. Come ready to get messy. Each participant will have their own wheel and create 2-3 pieces. We will do the glazing for you!  Tuesday, 1/15, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or Wednesday, 2/20, 6:30-8:30 PM, $35

Sgraffito Wine Chiller  ~ Learn the art of sgraffito – the process of scratching through the surface of a glaze layer in order to reveal the contrasting color of the clay. Vases will be premade – the focus of this workshop is on the design process and carving techniques. Tuesday, 2/5, 10:00  AM – 12:00 PM,  or Wednesday, 3/13, 6:30 – 8:30 PM $45

Fused Glass Dish ~ Create a unique dish using layers of class. Participants will learn glass cutting and design techniques to create a colorful dish. Friday, May 3, 6:30 - 8:00 PM, $30
