Our adult classes are designed to meet the needs of the students where they are ~ from beginner to advanced, our instructors tailor the classes to each participant and their specific goals, while teaching them a variety of skills and techniques.
2018 ADULT CLASSES AND WORKSHOPSPottery with Heather Woodson ~ This pottery class explores both hand building and wheel throwing techniques for beginners through advanced students. Instructor will determine where you are in the learning process and help guide you through projects of your choice. Art History and Studio with Debbie Dirckx Norris ~ Imagine a French atelier or a New York loft. Through the magic of technology, we'll study the motivations and techniques of famous artists, past and present. Their works and methods will become the inspiration for our own works of art. COCKTAILS AND CREATIVITY ADULT WORKSHOPS - These workshops are a creative night out for friends or couples and a great opportunity to try a new form of art! No previous art experience necessary! Basic and specific instruction is given with guided assistance, and all supplies are included, Please feel free to bring your beverage of choice!
Wheel Throwing Workshop with Phyllis Schulte ~ This is a great opportunity to try the potters wheel without committing to a long term class. Clay Critters with Phyllis Schulte ~ Create clay bugs, butterflies and other critters for your garden! Basic handbuilding will be taught while you create multiple pieces the first week and glaze all of the pieces the second week. Tuesdays, August 21 and August 28, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, $50
